The Reuters news agency may be sued by the government for telling a union leader she should not criticise the company on Twitter. After a supervisor had invited employees to post suggestions on making Reuters the best place to work, she had replied that this could be achieved by dealing honestly with union members.
Legal experts say employees may criticise their companies or supervisors as long as the objective is to improve working conditions and not merely to run them down.
